This resource is excellent for those not familiar with TBI. | I bought 2 copies of this book, one for me, one for Murphy's teachers. Invaluable - covers both home and school. | Written by a TBI survivor, this book addresses the emotional toll TBI can take on the survivor and the family. | An outstanding "guide" to brain injury recovery. From a TBI Survivor.

This book does a good job of putting together theory and application. It is a bit clinical, but if you've been researching brain injury and understand the lingo - this is a super resource! | Catherine Maurice is FANTASTIC, and I've recommended many of her books. She comes at autism with the parent point of view, and is a super advocate of the child. | Many brain injured children have similar needs to autistic children. A big need is for a "set" schedule. This book is a great, reasonably priced resource for teachers trying to include the autistic child in the classroom. | To me, this is a premier resource for both parents and teachers. It literally changed how Murphy's teachers interact with him - and brought a long-needed understanding of his unique abilities to everyone working with him.
