The "ME" Book - one of THE resources for autistic children. I don't agree with all of Lovaas' theories, but he's been very successful. | Can you tell I'm a big fan of teaching social skills to special needs children? This book has some SUPER activities that you can do at home, or pass them along to your child's school. | Textbook-ey in many ways, I really enjoyed it because it gave some insight into the different ways that people learn, and how the schools need to adapt to those changing ways. | While not specific to special needs children, this is an excellent book on strategies for children's learning. Geared toward homeschoolers, it is a great resource for teachers as well. | ||||||||
